Deuterium 8 pins Lamp for Agilent 1260/Agilent 1290

The  five Typical functions of the 8 Pins on a Deuterium Lamp:

• Filament Power (Heater) – 2 pins provide power to heat the filament inside the lamp.
• Anode Connection – 1 or 2 pins connect to the anode (the positively charged electrode).
• Cathode Connection – 1 or 2 pins connect to the cathode (the negatively charged electrode).
• Ignition (Starting Circuit) – 1 or 2 pins may be used for high-voltage ignition to start the lamp.
• Ground or Shielding – 1 pin may be for grounding or shielding to prevent electrical noise.
